If your mailbox is anything like mine this time of year, every day brings a stack of catalogs from retailers trying to get our attention before holiday shopping and gift giving shifts into high gear. Flip through the pages and you’ll find the season’s shiny new must-haves mixed in with the tried-and-true standards you see year after year. You’ll likely come across just the thing for someone you know. Maybe you’ll end up with a wish list for yourself.
We like to think of our 2024 leadership training course catalog as offering a similar experience.
This leadership training course catalog is a comprehensive collection of offerings designed to help leaders build the skillsets and mindsets they need for success today and in the future.
Every year our clients and the work we do with their leaders inspire us to continue to innovate—developing new courses on novel approaches, ideas, and concepts, evolving existing courses to keep them timely and relevant, and partnering with other best-in-class firms to bring you a wide array of engaging and practical content that meets your needs now.
For example, this past year, we found organizations focusing on three unique talent development needs:
- Leading more effectively during times of uncertainty and ambiguity
- Developing large populations of first-time leaders in foundational managerial and leadership skills
- Working better in teams and managing in a variety of virtual environments
To support these trends, my instructional design team developed two new learning experiences: Leading with Agility and Strategic Thinking. These courses can stand on their own or be combined with our more extensive leadership development programs. We are also excited to announce a new partnership to bring content from Healthy Companies International to our clients. Their flagship course, Grounded® and Conscious Leadership, is for senior-level advanced leaders looking to take their skillsets and mindsets to the next level.
At the same time, our most in-demand courses for 2023—Emotional Intelligence, Admired Leaders, and self-awareness workshops such as the Everything DiSC® products and the Work of Leaders—reflect the perpetual relevance of foundational leadership skills. These and other core topics such as change, conflict, feedback, self-awareness, and employee development are at the heart of our larger leadership development programs, and my team is constantly tweaking our standard offerings to keep them fresh and engaging for new audiences.
As much as individual skillsets and mindsets remain in focus, team development is also on trend, as evidenced by the popularity of our Five Behaviors® program in 2023. As the definition of “team” takes on new meaning with virtual and matrixed setups becoming the norm, the classic 5B model remains as applicable and practical as ever.
In short, this is what you’ll find in our catalog and on our management courses web page: a mix of what’s new, what’s on trend, and what’s tried and true in the world of leadership development. We’re confident you’ll find something to help you and your leaders lead better, no matter the season.
