The Flexibility of In-Person, Hybrid, or Virtual Learning

Our blended learning, hybrid learning, and virtual learning courses are built using best-in-class content and engaging facilitation. We combine self-paced work accessed via the Dion Leadership Learning Platform with instructor-led group sessions delivered in-person or virtually.

Most of our blended learning courses include two or three instructor-led sessions that run between 90 minutes and three hours each. Before, between, and after these sessions, participants complete a range of self-paced assignments that complete their learning experience.

We also offer two simulation-based learning experiences for leaders.

What’s the Difference Between Hybrid Learning, Blended Learning, and Virtual Learning?

Virtual learning refers to technology-enabled events where the participants are not in the same physical location, but are instead connected with the instructor and each other via meeting software such as Zoom or Teams.

Blended learning refers to learning that is both synchronous and asynchronous, meaning some sessions are self-paced and others are live, instructor-led. Events can occur in either a virtual or in-person classroom.

Hybrid learning refers to synchronous live instructor-led learning events taught when some participants are in the same physical classroom and others are connected via meeting technology.
